Community Musician/Performer

As  a freelance community musician Jacqueline is a facilitator for singing, drumming/percussion, songwriting, ukulele workshops as well as sing-alongs.

The Teacher

An experienced and very patient teacher, with over 20 years of  teaching behind her.

‘Music is for anyone’.

‘Anyone can learn to play an musical instrument or sing, the first step is the desier to do so’.

 

Member of the Musicians’ Union, she is also an RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors).

Jacqueline has been DBS andCRB checked, she teaches both adults and children.

 

The Choir Founder

Founder and leader of the Caribbean Community Choir – a choir that specialises in teaching folk songs from the Caribbean.

The Songwriter/Composer

Jacqueline also writes song and composes.

Jacqueline enjoys  min’yo (Japanese folk music). She is  a member of the SOAS Min’yo Group, in which she plays the shamisen.
